We had the honor of capturing Victoria and Kevin’s wedding at Hacienda Siesta Alegre in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, and we are still getting over how beautiful it was. It was such a romantic celebration at the most magical wedding venue, and we couldn’t wait to share their special day with you all!

A Romantic, Elegant-Boho Dream Come True

From beginning to end, Victoria and Kevin’s Hacienda Siesta Alegre destination wedding was absolutely a dream come true. We began the day by documenting each and every small detail they put their time & effort into, including adorable little personalized favors for each of their guests, dinner tables full of jaw-dropping bohemian decor, and the most gorgeous stationery we have seen in a long time. Every detail was full of intention and was so meaningful to the couple.

Oh, and did we mention the breathtaking florals that they had created for their special day? The bridal bouquet that Victoria got to carry around was absolutely magical, with large, blooming flowers surrounded by smaller elements to add texture & layers to the bouquet. And the flowers on each of the tables, along with the pampas grass, made for such a beautiful elegant, bohemian look.

A bride with taste

After getting ready for the day with their loved ones, Victoria and Kevin spent a few minutes together for their sweet first look – one of our favorite moments of the day to witness. Their ceremony in the garden was simply gorgeous, as they stood at the altar with the mountains in the background, lush greenery surrounding them as well as all of their friends & family. They didn’t waste any time afterward, heading right into their reception to dance the night away in the courtyard with their guests. Every moment of the day felt like it was straight out of a fairytale!

Victoria actually created all the stationery herself, which is so impressive – just look at how beautiful each piece is! She also wore multiple pieces of heirloom jewelry, which added meaningful little touches to her outfit and added to how beautiful she already looked. The couple even put together a special family tree at the check-in table, full of wedding photos going back generations. How cool of an idea is that!

One of the reasons we (and many couples) love Hacienda Siesta Alegre is that there are both indoor and outdoor spaces available for your wedding! The main space has a covered patio and outdoor grassy areas, and the courtyard boasts a stunning open-air space as well as covered spaces for you and your guests to mingle. There will also be a barn available in the near future for wedding receptions, with plenty of space to dance, celebrate with your guests, and still get beautiful views of El Yunque Rainforest & the surrounding mountains!

What outdoor spaces does Hacienda Siesta Alegre offer for weddings?

Hacienda Siesta Alegre has multiple outdoor spaces for wedding ceremonies & receptions: the Garden, the (partially-outdoor) open-air Courtyard, and the River by the Hacienda.
